Someone pointed out to me off-list that at least one of the domains
actually had a working IPv6 server.

I checked, and sure enough it did. So I ran a scan across the list of
TLD without IPv6 servers and found this:

bf			# Burkina Faso
ns2.as6453.net.		86400	IN	AAAA	2001:5a0:d00:ffff::42c6:9163
ns1.as6453.net.		86400	IN	AAAA	2001:5a0:d00:ffff::42c6:9137

mh			# Marshall Islands
ns.minta.mh.		86400	IN	AAAA	2405:400:0:2::33

mv			# Maldives
mv-ns.anycast.pch.net.	86400	IN	AAAA	2001:500:14:6024:ad::1

ni			# Nicaragua
dns.nic.cr.		1800	IN	AAAA	2001:13c7:7004:1::d100

xn--lgbbat1ad8j		# Algeria IDN
idn4.nic.dz.		86400	IN	AAAA	2001:500:14:6104:ad::1
idn1.nic.dz.		86400	IN	AAAA	2001:4340:1030:2::4

xn--mgba3a4f16a		# Iran IDN
ir.cctld.authdns.ripe.net. 21600 IN	AAAA	2001:67c:e0::85

xn--wgbh1c		# Egypt IDN
ns4.dotmasr.eg.		3600	IN	AAAA	2001:500:14:6106:ad::1

So at least 7 of the 33 already have IPv6 servers in their NS, but they
just haven't put them in the ICANN root zone as hints.

I'm not sure if this is good news or not. On the one hand, these guys
have the hard part sorted out. On the other hand, it's a bit
disappointing that so many TLD are out of sync with their parent.

So, any ideas what to do with these TLD?

Cheers,

Shane
