i can think of at least one person on dnsop@ who will scream bloody murder
("why this set of operators? who controls the IRR for that netblock?" etc).
a number of other folks will likely say, "why is this like the rootops where
IANA has no contracts with the operators?" and "should there be an MoU?"

so, support i know there is, but traction i cannot confidently predict.
