Here’s this week's update on algorithm roll for .ORG:

	• The new Algorithm 8 DS records replaced all Algorithm 7 records in the root zone.

Referring to Figure 8 in RFC 6781 <https://tools.ietf.org/html/rfc6781#section-4.1.4>, .ORG was moved from “new DNSKEY” to “new DS” on Thursday, Oct 01 at 21:07:55 UTC 2020, and we are holding down.

No changes next week, as we take an “overabundance of caution” before removing the Algorithm 7 KSK, ZSK, and old RRSIG on the DNSKEY RRSet.  This is planned for the following week (October 13-16, also observing Canadian Thanksgiving on October 12th).
