Indeed. We've had asymmetirc routing issues that have bothered our dns servers in the past but this does not appear to be the case this time around. I've already sent this out to the cnr group for developer support. Community feedback is welcome. :)

Bob,

You may want to talk to the authors of your resolver software. They are in
the best position to study what is going on - short of networking issues.

The scenario as you describe does not sound like a likely cause of your
problem - perhaps something else is going on.

A networking issue might mean that your servers simply have a hard time
receiving answers from the .ca servers, and repeating queries a lot.
