well, sure. when i say dnscap builds and runs find on suselinux, i mean
that i untarred bind9, ran ./configure with --enable-libbind, and so on.
(suselinux ships an rpm they call bind-devel and it has some libraries in
it but just not libbind.)
but by saying "it's not hard" are you advocating for #ifdef'ing the "-g"
feature or just making libbind a prerequisite and forcing folks to satisfy
it even if they have to drop out of their systems' automated package tools?
