Mr. David Ulevitch forgets to mention his solicitations with our office for
speaking opportunities. Sadly, we had to decline both him and his aggressive
public relations associate Allison. She was so kind to elaborate that we
couldn't do this event without inviting him. 
His services are of no interest to our audience.

And to make it unequivocally clear, yes we do have a mutual agreement with
CircleID. I have bcc'd Ali (who owns and operates CircleID) of this email.

I don't think you need to worry about anyone associating you with them.

In their program they also link to Steve Gibbard's post at CircleID 
which insinuates that he is involved somehow, which I doubt.  Also, we 
emailed them asking what the program for the conference was and who else 
was speaking and got this back:
