Yes, it was in the german iX magazine, see 
http://www.heise.de/ix/inhalt.shtml, the article is named "Multi-Core: 
Quadcore-Xeon von Intel und AMDs Dualcore" on page 72. Unfortunately, 
its only german and the article is not available online.

If the list wants, I could scan the 4 pages, put it on a website and 
post a link.
