	feel free to include "B" - IF - you can produce a concensus
	statement from the FreeBSD community that this behaviour is
	what they want and have asked for.   if you can't, then i'd 
	suggest that the change was ill-concevied, and poorly executed
	and should be removed until community concensus is reached.

	good for what?  what problem exists that this is the solution for?
