see 2.5.5 of RFC 4291. If the format never had existed, there'd have been
little reason for the UI to display the addresses in this special way :-)

Apart form "v4 compatible adresses" being deprecated, it's usually agreed
not to publish AAAA RRs for "not truly" v6 addresses. Section 4.3 of RFC 4472
may serve as a reference, even though it's "just" Informational.
