[dns-operations] What is the most pressing need for DNS these days?

The only place where I've seen DNAME mentioned in the context of IDN
is ICANN testbed,

this is a bad proposal, because the real issue is a political one
"Should the Unicode TLD and the ASCII TLD have the same registry or
not?", the technical solution (DNAME or simply 'ln -s db.re
db.xn--r-bga') is an implementation detail.
