Corect, no IPv6 record yet.  But see:

A few operators are trying this out, but really this needs something a 
little more official from IANA.  There are also some draft RFCs attempting 
to make the rounds at the IETF regarding further allocations, plus one 
seeking to delegate it all.  But it runs specially hacked code.

Someone else made a proposal last year and even more recently to use 
DNAME.
