Greetings,

 	I see there's a number of you already subscribed, so that's enough 
to get the ball rolling.

 	This list is dedicated to discussions centering around the 
operation (and theory) of the AS112 infrastructure.  Discussions are by no 
means limited to that, anything regarding issues such as statistical 
anaylsis of traffic, constructing nodes or co-ordination between node 
operators are welcome too.

 	So, to kick this off, I'll introduce myself:  I run a relatively 
tiny, but interesting AS112 node at the Federal GigaPOP in Ottawa, Canada, 
which receives a view of the CA*Net 4 routing table as well as the 
networks that connect to it - so it's a pretty exclusive node, no Internet 
access.

 	I'm also the co-author, with Joe Abley, of a set of IETF drafts 
that attempt to document the AS112 operation.

 	I also run the public.as112.net website, and maintain the list of 
'known' AS112 nodes buried a little deeper in there.  Comments about that 
website that will lead to improvements on behalf of you, the community, 
are most appreciated.
