Subject: [dns-operations] Nominations solicited: 2023 Rob Blokzijl Award

Dear all -

Now that summer break and vacation time are nearing their end and many
of you have already returned to work or will do so soon, I would like to
take the opportunity to make you aware that the nomination phase for the
Rob Blokzijl Award is now open.

It is to be awarded in November at the RIPE 87 meeting in Rome to an
individual who has made an outstanding technical or operational
contribution to Internet development in the RIPE region.

Ideally, the person has also enabled and supported third parties in this
regard.

I therefore would like to urge everyone here to check out the further
details of the call for nominations at:

https://rob-blokzijl-foundation.org/2023/08/08/call-for-nominations-2023-award/

and to consider whom they could or would like to nominate - several
nominations per nominator are also welcome, of course.

The committee
(https://rob-blokzijl-foundation.org/2023/06/01/2023-award-committee-2/)
invites suggestions to be sent to:

<nominations at rob-blokzijl-foundation.org>

The deadline for submissions is October 29, 2023, 23:59 UTC.

Thank you and best regards,

-C.
