[dnscap-users] Possible Debian package (and question about patches)

Hi,
I have been working on a Debian package for dnscap, and it is almost
ready. However, there is at least one patch that I would like to submit
to the project, and I would like to know if it is OK to send it to this
mailing list.
I know dnscap has been using github, which is a decision I respect, but
is something unfortunate in terms of software freedom (not to mention
centralization). For this reason, I do not use it and therefore I am
unable to send a github "pull request". It would be easier for me if I
could just send a patch to this list and discuss it with the maintainers
here.
Thank you,
