Thanks, Emmanuel. The right Cloudflare people have been looking at this today. They have found some weirdness with particular, convoluted configurations. We may need to call out for more aspirin. Top tip, if you want some weird corner case to receive some attention, ask on a Friday.
If it turns out we make changes to the response behaviour for particular queries, we will follow up here with a summary so that everybody is aware. If we don't make changes because we think, on reflection, that everything is fine, we will say that here so that everybody can pile on and tell us why we are wrong. :-)
