I once worked in a place where the corporate branding standards insisted that the name of the company always be expressed in all-caps, at all times, no exceptions. It was enforced so rigorously within the company that it seemed jarring to see other people (on mailing lists, in the press) not doing it. That was ridiculous, of course, but I don't remember ever having to deal with people sniggering about it from the back of the classroom. Perhaps they did and I have just repressed the associated minor trauma. 

Personally I think it's great that people come here and feel able to ask good engineering questions about the DNS and get helpful answers. That is, in fact, exactly what this list is for.
