[dns-operations] List Administrivia: Bounce processing glitch

Earlier this weekend it appears we had a glitch with message forwarding on the list. The global option intended to force wrapping DMARC-protected messages for all lists, to prevent bounces due to mailman forwarding messages, did not behave as intended. A couple of messages went through this list list from a mail domain with a p=reject DMARC policy, and several recipient domains (including Gmail) bounced the message for all recipients. As a result, 308 list recipients were temporarily suspended from the list, due to the hard bounce.

I’ve un-suspended those recipients, and have begun manually modifying each list’s configuration directly, to enable the desired setting, since the global override seems not to have overridden the individual list settings, as expected.

My apologies for the disruption.
