I knew cloudflare serves f-root:
https://blog.cloudflare.com/f-root/

But recently I saw some traceroute to e-root ending at Cloudflare
NYC/Paris, and others have seens this too [1]. For example:

$ mtr 192.203.230.10 -bzwc1
Start: Fri Mar 22 09:23:36 2019
HOST: sensor-par
  1. AS13030 empty.init7.net (82.197.166.131)
  2. AS13030 r1par1.core.init7.net (77.109.135.21)
  3. AS???   equinix-paris.cloudflare.com (195.42.144.143)
  4. AS21556 e.root-servers.net (192.203.230.10)

$ mtr 192.5.5.241 -bzwc1
Start: Fri Mar 22 09:24:14 2019
HOST: sensor-par
  1. AS13030 empty.init7.net (82.197.166.131)
  2. AS13030 r1par1.core.init7.net (77.109.135.21)
  3. AS???   equinix-paris.cloudflare.com (195.42.144.143)
  4. AS3557  f.root-servers.net (192.5.5.241)

So, is Cloudflare taking over all root nameservers? :-)

regards
Klaus
