Thanks for the bug report. Feel free to file this and any other issues at https://github.com/dnsviz/dnsviz/issues, so I don't lose track of them.

I did take an initial glance at it but was unable to reproduce it.  Admittedly, however, I've only had time to test from a python2 environment, and it looks like you're running python3.6.
