[dns-operations] BIND 9.12 comments

a few days ago i was made aware of the BIND9-9.12.0-A1 release notes, 
which are here:

i was and remain astounded by how much effort and capability is 
represented in this release. a lot of people who thought BIND9 was a 
white elephant ready to be consigned to the dustbin of history, are 
going to be astounded also.

i am especially mindful of the BIND9 founding sponsors, including 
several now-defunct minicomputer companies and several government 
research agencies, who were promised a lot more in BIND 9.0.0 than they 
got. well, it's all in 9.12.0.

kudos to my colleagues and successors at ISC. you're making this look 
easier than i found it to be.
