[dns-operations] EDNS buffer size on TCP connections?

Hi everybody,

While working on a PowerDNS bug, I wondered: what do I fill out on the
buffer size field of the EDNS record on a TCP/IP connection?

RFC 2671 and 6891 do not speak about this. 

I expect most implementations to ignore the field, but would love to hear
what operational practice is.
