Since I have received some questions about this off-list, I wanted to
provide a bit of clarification.

The DNS-over-HTTP looking glass works by sending one or more DNS queries
along with other parameters, such as destination servers and query timeout
values, as the content of a POST request to an HTTP server.  The HTTP
server issues the queries and responds with the results, including meta
information, such as response time.  A implementation that uses CGI is
included with the DNSViz source.  This enables the client to issue
arbitrary DNS queries from the perspective of a remote HTTP server.
