Hi,

Legislation concerning fi-domain names will change on 5.9.2016.
The Information Society Code (917/2014) clarifies the roles of FICORA and registrars. Along with the new legislation, the registry-registrar model will be brought into use.

Best Regards,
-Sami

Salmensuo,

I can imagine that registrars are not happy with it, or that FICORA does not want to spend the resources keeping the service running for end users. But those are just guesses.

Can you tell why are you going to stop?

Cheers,
