Announcing and hoping is fine.  Getting the announcement to the right
people is a different issue.  And the right people in this case are not the
DNS folks on the authoritative or resolver side.  Rather, they are those
those running the affected qmail instances.  Yet the organizations whose
authoritative DNS is hosted will be impacted.

Again, I'm not saying it shouldn't be done, just conveying thoughts on the
process and possible impact.
