I think you're missing the point. Nobody running random corporate 
networks is going to register anything when they deploy or move 
resolvers, many are on dynamic IPs, and no sane resolver operator is 
going to cut off the long tail of individual resolver operator's end 
users (read: a large percentage of your customer base.)

Every BSD and Linux box is potentially a resolver, with many running 
resolvers out of the box without further configuration.
