..... and once again this reminder comes too late for many people to
reorganize their lives.

Can these reminders please be sent out more than a day or two before?
The purpose of streaming them is for transparency - it is not achieved
if everyone already has made other plans....

I don't think the execution is relevant when it was obviously a bad
idea in the first place.
This is like putting rabid weasels in your pants, and later expressing
regret at having chosen those particular rabid weasels and that pair
of pants.
