[dns-operations] IDN's and SpamCop.Net

I just received a spam complaint from SpamCop.

Spamvertised web site: http://www.ca/
http://www.spamcop.net/w3m?i=z5470071369ze6ab26a927ec2b604ae867a910d2b6a7z
http://www.ca/ is 192.228.29.1; Thu, 31 Mar 2011 21:10:29 GMT

The body of the spamvertised message contains:

O link é: www.caçadesconto.com.br

So it would appear as though their scripts terminate the domain string
on any non- 0-9, a-z character, and thus can cause misdirected spam
complaints to TLD's and such.

Anyone else happen to get a SpamCop complaint lately that makes
absolutely no sense?

Have to wonder how many other badly coded scripts are out there...
