There is a significant difference between taking an XFR of a zone for  
your own purposes (research, etc.) which Nominet is clearly okay with,  
and running public name servers which claim to be authoritative for a  
zone which is not delegated to you, which is what CommunityDNS is  
doing with several zones (and which many operators are not okay with).
