[dns-operations] Announcing resurrection of work on fpdns

Hi All,

I am pleased to announce that Kirei, Nominet, and Verisign are jointly
undertaking a project to update the "fpdns" DNS server fingerprinting
software.  And we could use your help.

We are looking for people to help in the following ways:

1.  Do you know of any obscure name server software that should be included?

2.  Do you know of quirks in name server software that can aid in fingerprinting?

3.  Can you provide access to publicly reachable, non-open-source resolvers with
   known versions that we can test against?
