How exactly would you have an IPv6 DNS server exist and not "advertised"
to some end-users?

Can you cite a resolver that has a problem with some of the
authoritative servers for a zone being only available via IPv6?

There are some diagnostic tools that have a problem (e.g. the older
versions of dig when used with the +trace option), but that's a minor
inconvenience, not a significant problem.
