[dns-operations] Missing .us and GTLD records??

Bill, the message "Couldn't find server 'j.gtld.biz': Name or service 
not known" is sensitive the to query transport.  If he had had working
IPv6 support the original lookups would have succeeded (assuming the
server was up).
