Ordinarily I would say that this isn't worth reporting because the
list can't fix the problem, only the admins can.
But in this case, how do you figure out who to contact?
There's the root at nhc-hp12.nhc.noaa.gov. address indicated in the SOA
RR, but you get that by relaxing DNSSEC. Further, you then have to
relax your mailer's use of DNSSEC to send to them.
There is no useful information in the GOV whois to report these
problems. THe whois says:
Currently, NOAA.GOV is not available for registration.
NOAA.GOV
Department of Commerce
National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration
Domain Name: NOAA.GOV
Status: Active
Individual POC Data is not available. Please contact the helpdesk.
I have yet to find out how to "contact the helpdesk."
Anyone know how to report a problem with .gov sites?
