Yes, it will certainly break if the client send a second TCP query
over the same connection. Some stacks will generate a connection
abort when they see (or are about to generate) a FIN segment while
there is still data pending.
Consequently, if you want to reduce the DNS TCP timeout values, you
need some sort of connection termination negotiation at the
application layer.
