[dns-operations] When TLDs have apex A records

Here is someone that should definitely take that advice:

$ host how-not-to-be-a-good-net-citizen.com.com
how-not-to-be-a-good-net-citizen.com.com is an alias for c18-ss-1- 
lb.cnet.com.
c18-ss-1-lb.cnet.com has address 216.239.122.33

I mean a wildcard just to catch typos and then no MX record for it?   
As you might guess, 216.239.122.33 doesn't accept mail.
