As a reminder, on May 1, 2009 noon UTC, we are re-inserting the record
for the GOV TLD. This is just under one weeks time.
DNS-OARC has provided a test zone, which is NSEC3 signed.
To test that your DLV-aware resolver is ready, look up a record within
this zone, such as the SOA:
dig +dnssec nsec3.dlvtest.dns-oarc.net soa
If your DLV-enabled resolver answers correctly, you are ready. If it
does not, you need to upgrade.
More information on the DNS-OARC zone can be obtained from
https://www.dns-oarc.net/oarc/services/dlvtest.
Versions of BIND 9 which will work properly with NSEC3 are:
BIND 9.6.0-P1
BIND 9.5.1-P2
BIND 9.4.3-P2
If you need to upgrade BIND, it is available for download from
https://www.isc.org/
