[dns-operations] IPAM/DNS Applicances

Does anybody have any experience in the IPAM/DNS appliance area?
I am thinking about things like the devices from Blue Cat networks
http://www.bluecatnetworks.com/ and Appliansys
http://www.appliansys.com/products/dnsbox/index.html

Anybody recommend or more importantly warn away from any specific
companies/devices?
