serious answers only, please.  if you don't know where res_mkquery() and
res_nsend() are in the stack, and you don't know what they do and who calls
them and what their context is, then just don't answer.  if you do know, and
you're making social commentary as to whether the stack ought to be organized
in this way or whether these functions ought to exist or whether their callers
ought to be allowed to lack DNSSEC context, then please explain very completely
so that onlookers will understand exactly what you're trying to propose.
