[dns-operations] Problems with .ES

    I has been told .ES had some problems during the morning (localtime),  
    answering NXDOMAIN for every domain queried to any of their nameservers.  
    By now, this seems to be normal, but the problem could be produced by a  
    empty zone.
    
    Anyone has any details to share, either by public or private channel?
    
I got a question about it as well around 19:30 UTC. It was not an empty
zone since zome things did answer (nig.es did but nic.es didn't). Looked
like a quite some name servers were unreachable under .es and some
others were given non-authoritative answers. Things started to clear up
in the time while I looked at it so I didn't got a good idea what was
going on. My guess is that it got caused by a massive network outage
within Spain.
