The Domain Name System Operations Analysis and Research Center 
(DNS-OARC) is a non-profit, membership organization that seeks to 
improve the security, stability, and understanding of the Internet's DNS 
infrastructure. DNS-OARC is a trusted neutral party, free of vested 
interests in the DNS space. It provides access to, and participation in, 
the world's premier community of DNS technical experts, develops open 
tools and services, enables sharing and analysis of a unique dataset 
perspective, and provides community co-ordination resources to respond 
to incidents and threats.

The President provides technical, outreach, community building, and 
governance leadership to ensure the smooth operation of DNS-OARC as a 
center of coordination, innovation, and excellence in the Internet’s 
Domain Name System community.  They are responsible for the general 
supervision, direction, and control of the business and the officers of 
DNS-OARC. They manage engineering and research projects required to 
maintain and develop DNS-OARC's infrastructure, software tools, and data 
collection. The President sets and raises standards of availability and 
support for DNS-OARC activities while playing a key role in building 
DNS-OARC as a relevant, sustainable, growing, autonomous, neutral 
organization.

The successful candidate will have several years of leadership 
experience in a non-profit organization and the capacity to drive strong 
community and organizational growth. They will be sensitive to the 
international nature of OARC membership and have strong strategic, 
operational, and communication skills.

This position is fully remote, though regular travel to and within US 
and international travel (5+ times per year) will be required, and 
certain admin functions and Officers need to be US-based. Preference 
will thus be given for US-based candidates, but all nationalities and 
other locations will be considered. Compensation is up to $13,000 USD 
per month, or around $150,000 per year as a (no benefits) contractor.
