The new/upgraded AS112 (RFC7534/7535) has applicability for use for names
outside of the original AS112 set of zones.
It requires no further maintenance by AS112 operators, once the switch (or
addition?) had been made.
I.e. it will handle new things meant to be given appropriate NXDOMAIN
answers, without having to update resolver software.
For me, that's a pretty big win.
