We advertise the prefixes globally from our instance at AMS-IX. However,
the average query rate for us is 3,000 q/s.

Have you analysed the traffic at your AS112 instance to see where it's
all coming from? You may be getting traffic from a large ISP or network
which may benefit from its own AS112 instance.
