ROW13 Call for Proposals & Registrations | June 4th, 2024 | 13:00 - 17:00 UTC | Zoom Video Conference



The 13th Registration Operations Workshop<https://regiops.net/> (ROW13) will be held via remote participation on June 4th, 2024, 13:00 - 17:00 UTC. (check local time zone here<https://www.timeanddate.com/worldclock/fixedtime.html?iso=20240604T1300&p1=1440&msg=ROW13&fromtheme=generic>).

The attendance is free but registration is required to receive conference login credentials. ROW events are open to all industry members, including address/gTLD/ccTLD registries, domain name registrars, resellers, and second level domain registries, to present and discuss technical topics related to real world experiences of implementing registration operations, such as RDAP, EPP, WHOIS, RPKI, Registry Lock, and many more.

Please submit a short abstract describing your proposal to row at cofomo.com<mailto:row at cofomo.com> by May 10th, 2024. We will accommodate presenter time zones in setting the agenda. We invite submissions guided by this non-exhaustive list of broad topics. We also encourage any discussions/suggestions for additional topics on ROW’s mailing list: regiops at googlegroups.com<mailto:regiops at googlegroups.com>.

  *   RDRS from an operational perspective
  *   RDAP implementation experience
  *   Implementation of NIS2 Directive
  *   New DNS Delegation (deleg) - impact on registration systems
  *   Best practices for DNSSEC Key management
  *   DNS abuse
  *   How might Artificial Intelligence (AI) affect the registration ecosystem
  *   Topics relevant to EPP, RPKI and other protocols relevant to Registration Systems
  *   Digital Identity topics (eIDAS, etc.)
  *   Registry/Registrar Industry Coming of Age:
     *   Handling turnover of staff or platform providers, transitioning
     *   Evolving the role of the registry/registrar within the Internet economy/environment (meaning, gov’t/others)
     *   Does having a distributed workforce help or hinder the operations of a registry/registrar?
