What's stopping you from proposing a BOF at the next IETF (with the intent of spinning up a new WG if the BOF suggests that would be a good idea)?  I thought killing off DNSEXT was to move away from the omnibus working group model and back to the topic-of-interest WG model? Did the IETF Illuminati declare a moratorium on all new DNS work when I wasn't looking?
